Amazon has been discussing drone deliveries for a long time – but now, they’re finally just around the corner. The world’s most prominent ecommerce company has revealed all new electric drones that can fly up to 15 miles and deliver packages under five pounds (lbs) in less-than 30 minutes. The company’s worldwide consumer CEO, Jeff Wilke, made the announcement at Amazon’s recent re:MARS conference in Las Vegas, saying: “you’re going to see this new drone delivering packages to customers in months.”
